Mid February

I cannot believe how fast time flies these days.

Jeremy is getting an interim appliance before his final round of braces, which could easily be a few years away yet, rather than this year as we originally thought. He gets the spacers for it today, then the appliance next week. I think his mouth will be sore tonight! He is praying to know whether to play baseball this spring/summer or not. He does plan to do swim team this summer and play football this fall. He is showing interest in playing the trumpet, but we'll see. This was a new desire he mentioned just last week.

Joanna is currently in a growth spurt. She is eating quite heartily, which is nice for a change. We hope to register her for preschool on Monday. Can't believe she is 3 already. I would say she is 95% day-potty-trained. Nowhere close at nap/night yet.

Jessica is learning new words all the time, although I doubt anyone else can understand her. She still screeches a lot in frustration though.

Alex continues to love his job. He continues to cook more & more of our stuff from scratch, which is nice. I am helping a good bit too.

I started doing taxes for a one-woman firm here in town last week. I work 2-3 nights per week, just 2 hrs a night. It is nice to get my brain active and get out.

I think that's it in a nutshell right now.

  1. Hi Cindy! =)
I'm not much of a cook expert, either. =) I'm a beginner and am blessed with a family willing to let me experiment with different recipes (Tammy's recipes are simply awesome).

I would definitely make them smaller to start with but I'm not sure about the baking time. They probably should be just fine baked at the same temperature (just for maybe about 3-4 minutes instead of 4-5?).

I'm on Spring break next week and may have some time to try this out for you, if you'd like =)

    Have a great day! =)
